As you can see the Disney Counter states we are total addicts to Disneyland. I believe this is from 2015 - current. Then again we live so close that we can park our car down the street and walk there or take the bus. Or if totally lazy, just park in the structure.
JUST AN UPDATE, the visit count update as of the last day of our pass is.....1036. Yeah, we got our money's worth for the year. We decided not to renew. We miss it already.
So if you are at Disneyland, there is a great chance I will be there. Unfortunately my son has been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD/ODD and SPD. For those not in the know, that is Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorder. Although he can be very well behaved, he has his moments. Often times he cannot stand still. Even when other kids can, my son just can't do it. He literally will bounce off whatever is near him, whether that is a wall, chains, people you name it. One day we were there and tried hard to go on one particular ride and each time the wait was so long that my son couldn't make it. One of the cast members told us to go to the Town Hall and ask for a guest assistance pass. A long time ago it was for people with all kinds of disorders, mobility issues as well. But with the total misuse and abuse of this service, I believe it is strictly for those with sensory processing issues, such as my son. You'd have to check at the Town Hall. Without the guest assistance pass that my son gets, we'd never be able to go to Disneyland because he wouldn't last 10 minutes without everyone else wanting to shoot us.
Since we are so close we can just go on a few rides in a night, or my son Atreides can play at the Wilderness Area at California Adventure park.
For years Atreides would NOT go on any of the water rides (Grizzly River Rafts, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc. He is now 8 and VOILA, he loves them and they are the first rides he goes on. YAY, no more Fantasyland only rides. We were kinda going nuts with just those.
With Summer soon approaching, we have been there a few times a week. The annual passes are so worth it if you are close enough to use them. Annual prices are below as of 5/23/2017. If you are California resident you can pay them monthly.
